To start Masa MOD, execute "Masa.bat". Enjoy it!! ======== Modifications from the original baseq3 ======== - Rail reflection - Lightning discharge - Speed up when the health is few - All weapons have a secondary attack named "Ultimate Fire" in exchange for the health - Corpses fly gaily - More effects ======== Bindings ======== +button5 : Directly shot the "Ultimate Fire". ufire : Toggle Ultimate/Normal firing mode. "+button5" is more convenient than "ufire". ======== Multiplayer ======== Masa MOD server must set sv_pure 0. eg: quake3.exe +set fs_game Masa +set sv_pure 0 Even if the client doesn't have Masa MOD, the client can connect a Masa MOD server and play. But the client has many limitations (can't see effects of Ultimate Fire, etc.) I recommend that the client installs Masa MOD, too. ======== Game variables ======== Rail reflection variables: - rreflect The maximum number of reflections. The default value is 15. "rreflect 0" means never reflecting. - rrepcoeff Repercussion coefficient. Influences just direction of the reflection. The default value 1.0 means the complete mirror reflection. - rrefattn Rail energy attenuation when reflecting. The default value is 0.5. This means the rail damage becomes half at each reflection. You can also set the larger value than 1.0! That's a very dangerous rail :-) - rrefattns Energy attenuation when reflecting for Ultimate Fire. The default value is 0.95. - rrefdelay Time needed for each reflection. The default value 100.0 means the 10 reflections per second. Ultimate Fire variables: - sdamage Penalty damage scale of Ultimate Fire. However, gauntlet "KAMIKAZE Attack" is never influenced. The default value is 1.0.
