screen-uim provides an input environment for many languages on GNU screen. It uses uim .

Requirements

To build it, you need the following software:

uim (0.1.5 or later)

To use it, you need the following software:

GNU screen (3.9.15 or later)

How to use

To startup screen-uim, you need to type the following:

$ screen -c /usr/local/etc/screenrc-uim

Unfortunately, it supports only uim-skk. Ctrl-j changes conversion mode. All information will display on the status line.

The following key bindings are supported:

C-a b: hide the status line
C-a t: display the status line
C-a c: open new session with screen-uim
C-a f: invoke screen-uim on current session
C-a k: stop screen-uim on current session (it's default behavor of GNU screen)

You can see details in /usr/local/etc/newscreen-bind file.
